Catering
My daughter and SIL met with Carrabas to cater their upcoming wedding in Wisconsin. They met with the gentleman twice.
He never contacted the venue as he said he would. Strangely, he refused any deposit and has literally ghosted them. Calls and texts have gone unanswered. Leaving them scrambling to find another catering service.
Extremely sad by the lack of response. O D

First-time consumer at the franchise and decided to visit on 04/06/25 at the 7890 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee, FL location. The greeters were fine, but the waiter gave a very minimalistic experience.
The food was okay, but it wasn't the experience that everyone raved about. After preparing to leave, the waiter left me with a hostile encounter in which he trapped me in my seat demanding a 50% gratuity stating it is mandatory. While I didn't have an issue paying my bill or tipping, the demand and mandatory gratuity caught me off guard while he started a very demanding confrontation towards me. After finally being given the opportunity to leave, he then shouted, 'Don't come back.' I noticed a few employees outside and decided to ask if one of them was management.
After attempting to speak with the person, the waiter rushed outside to what seemed to be another confrontation.
To avoid any further engagement, I left out of fear. I don't think I would ever return to the franchise if this is what I would have to endure as a dining experience.

The waitress provided terrible service, and the manager was unkempt and sloppy. He did compensate us for our meal, but he was also rude. He claimed that our waitress had to manage our section (we were the only ones in our section) as well as the other side of the restaurant.
- Good food
- Poor servers
Preferred solution: Gift card for showing if good faith and hopefully apology from corporate office.

Hello I am an employee of carrabbas in willow grove and I just wanted to message you guys regarding my issues with the manager Steven and the restaurant as well! I truly dont think Steve is a professional manager because the way he treats his employees and customers is very unprofessional.
Whenever a problem is being addressed to him, he tends to get angry instead of resolving the issue! I truly think that he is very racist and that he picks on whoever he feels like picking on! The only thing he is worried about more than his employees and customers is himself and his money!
That restaurant is also very disgusting there is always mice running around the restaurant, whenever customers see a mice, the manager always gives the customers there food for free! I just dont think he is a professional manager!
Preferred solution: Nothing!

Today I went in for a job interview at 1:15, having been made aware that if I was not able to get interviewed, I would be told in advance. With no indication that it was canceled or no longer available, I went to the store location, as directed, and was told there was no one available to do it.
I was then told to come tomorrow at 3:00 p.m.
In my opinion, this is highly unprofessional and a bad representation of the Bloomin' Brand company. I will not be going for the interview tomorrow at this location.
While I understand that life happens, a courtesy text or email would have been appreciated. If this is the work environment I would be subjected to, I'd rather not work there.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I went to the restaurant and spoke to a manager and was refunded.
Ordered off the Carrabbas website. They use Doordash as their delivery service.
My ordered was picked up by driver then I received a text saying it has been modified or canceled. Reach out to the restaurant they confirmed it been pick up. Call Doordash, nothing they can do on their side since I paid carrabbas. Call back restaurant employee kept hanging up on me and pressing keypad then hangup.
I reported to their corporate office waiting for a response. Worst service ever!

We have been going to the carrabas across from the Tampa outlets in Lutz Florida generally during happy hour on Saturdays. We just learned that Claire has been reassigned to waiting tables instead of working the bar and we will not be going back because of that.
Claire made us feel special and treated us like first class customers. The manager used to come over and always acknowledged us but latest acts like he doesn't know who we are.
We will not be going back anytime soon. We have found another bar where we will spend our money.

Verified Reviewer |I don’t want this to happen to anyone else
I hope this is allowed. I'm hoping that no one else experiences what I did with this. On January 20, 2017, I had an experience that I will never forget: one that opened my eyes to the harsh reality of racism and the vulnerability we face as members of marginalized communities. That evening, I went to Carrabba's for dinner with some friends, hoping to enjoy a simple meal and celebrate our friendship. Little did I know, this outing would turn into a painful reminder of the discrimination that still exists in our society.
As we settled at the bar, I noticed a familiar face - my cleaning lady, Ivy, was there with her friends. I decided to treat her to a bottle of wine, hoping to spread a little joy. However, the moment I engaged with the bartender and the manager, everything changed. Instead of a warm welcome, I was met with hostility. The manager approached me and asked, 'What are you doing here?' Initially, I thought he was joking, but his aggressive demeanor quickly shattered that illusion. He insisted I leave, making it clear that I did not belong there.
As I left, bewildered and hurt, I saw police cars outside. I was instructed to put my purse down and raise my hands, unsure of what was happening. The officers were kind, but the situation was surreal. After speaking with the manager who had called them, the officer returned to tell me I was being accused of making noise and causing a disturbance - accusations that were completely unfounded.
The officer expressed her sympathy and urged me to go home. The next day, the owner of Carrabba's reached out, suggesting I accept a $250 gift card as compensation for my experience. I declined, feeling that no monetary offer could erase the hurt I felt that night. I had been a loyal patron of Carrabba's, supporting them in my community. Every teachers' day I would go to Carrabba's and buy all my gift cards for the teachers at Audubon Elementary School. I am a local mom. However, that loyalty was met with disdain.
This experience has lingered with me, and it’s a feeling I wouldn't wish on anyone. My son serves in the military, and I pride myself on being a law-abiding citizen who supports local businesses. Yet, that day, I was made to feel unwelcome in a place I thought was safe.
I urge you to consider this if you're thinking about dining at Carrabba's in Merritt Island, especially if you're a member of the Black community. Racism may not always be visible, but its impact can be profound and lasting. Please think twice before spending your money in a place that may not value you as a customer. We must stand together against discrimination and support establishments that truly embrace inclusivity and respect for all. Your choices matter, and together we can foster a community that values every individual, regardless of their background. Please listen. This has taken years and I still have fear of what could have happened to me if our God-blessed Merritt Island officers were untrained. If you do not believe me, please go to the police department and see the report for yourself.

I received my meal with a container about 1/4 full of what was supposed to be truffle fries but was plain, soggy fries. Also ordered Alfredo that was literally only a few noodles, cold.
Ordered a bowl of chicken noodle and received one cup.
This is terrible, I usually love the service and food but I would like some sort of refund or coupon after this. If i could send the picture it would reveal the monstrosity I received.

I just want to say that the way they treat their employees or customers is outrageous and very unprofessional. The managers here do not do their jobs right, they dont help people out when they need it, they pay rate for the way we work for these companies is crazy, its like we are working as slaves for the amount of work we do for them!
This restaurant is dirty, they always have mice in here, nothing is ever cleaned! Chad the owner always comes in here to drink alcohol when he is working!

Your bar is set very low if you speak of experience and atmosphere and choose garbage Italian food. You are not being honest about the waiter and tip.
You also are not being honest about having a loss. You can be unhappy, but that’s not a financial loss since you ate. Your desire for a full refund has no merit either. So here’s what will happen in the near future.
Your $70 claimed loss will be ten-fold at three different times when bad Karma comes calling. One for the lie about the tip. A second time for the falsely claimed loss.
A third time for a full refund request. So when those $700 unexpected expenses arise, think back to your attempt to grift.
Thanks for the feedback, I do appreciate your concerns.
I don't believe for one second the waiter was demanding a 50% tip from you inside the restaurant. You don't eat the food and then later ask for a full refund.
If the waiter had really tried to shake you down for money, you would have stayed in the restaurant and found a manager.
Next time, try Fazoli's. They serve Italian food at about 1/4 of the cost.
Thank you for your concerns, I do appreciate your feedback and reference.
