Your manager at 16625 pointe village Dr.lutz,fl 33558 on 6/3 16 at 645pm asked my husband and myself to leave the restaurant or the law would be called..ee arrived at the restaurant at 453pm.it was my husbands birthday.we had 2 dinners. 1 appetizer.i had 4 wines.the wines were less than half a glass.i asked for another glass.my husband did.not drink..we always went to your chain to eat never.again.your manager wad rude and made a scene and was insulting.

Your complaint is definitely missing a lot of details. Why did the manager have to ask you to leave and threaten you with the police? You left that part out!

Yes I just like to say that Carrabba's in Apex, NC is the most miss managed team there... I am a former employee and left 3 weeks ago do so the fact that is not a equal opportunity establishment. They hired, promoted,and gave a award for the month to a employee that said infront of others that he was drinking on the job. The punishment for this man when brought to light was just a small talk that's it. The KM is not good at cleanliness be I had to clean up after him he also doesn't even know how to cook but 3 areas in the kitchen and he's the Manager? I wasn't fired I left and if that's what your kitchen is like seeing first hand I won't eat or recommend eating there to anyone. These issues have been brought up many time to The GM of that store and other lower tier manager there about same situation. If you think I'm wrong my name is Dan Czlonka look up my time card I had to close more times cause I was the scale goat cause he can't do a schedule. Just be for all this a fellow coworker was terminated cause of a sexual harassment and when this incident came up he got just a talk but got a raise, promotion and a employee of the month award? Carrabba's in Apex, NC needs help and you might want to get o. It before Eric ruins it more then what it is.

Salad Overpriced

New menu item - Tuscan Salad with Strawberries and shrimp, chicken or salmon for $14.99. At that price, I Thought it would be a nice size salad for lunch. NOT! It was like a side salad you'd get with a dinner. Only 4-5 pieces of shrimp and one medium sized strawberry! FOR $14.99. I was starving 2.5 hours later after spending the cost of a dinner entree! Taste was good but this item extremely overpriced. I was with friends and did not want to make a big deal at lunch. I did call the restaurant later to let them know how I felt and was told they had to provide as I received. That is corporate requirement. Well, big corporate company, I have dined with friends there every 2-3 months for 4-5 years now. At next lunch will suggest a new restaurant to meet and eat.

Just got back from Carabba's in

Port Richey Fl. Was rushed through dinner (25) minutes.

I had veal and my husband the lazagna. They are opened until 11:00. We got there around 9:00. First they tried to persuade us to sit in the bar.

There were many opened booths in the restaurant. We asked to be seated in the restaurant. We had wine, bread and soup. Our plates were there before I finished my soup.

We love Carrabas and have been going since it opened. We never experienced the rush to get out but normally eat there earlier. Very disappointed about tonight's experience. You must eat before 9:00 I guess?

Why stay opened later than 10:00 if you want to rush everyone out before 9:30?

We are a 64 year old couple that usually has great food & service at Carabbas. Are there different owners or management?

I was a waitress at Carrabba's for many years. This is all just standard policy.

They want you to sit in the bar so that server can make tips (as it is "open" seating not many people choose to sit there and it is hard to make decent money). They want your food to come out quickly...better early than late!

Management actually will reprimand the server if their table is "waiting" for their dinner course after soup/salad. Best to tell your server up front that you want to space out your courses!

Arriving at 9pm, at a restaurant that is still open for another 2 hours, is perfectly acceptable. I cannot understand why you were rushed, unless the person who served you was trying to go home and didn't want you in their section, thus detaining them. Very unprofessional conduct on their part.

Going Downhill Fast

We are weekly devotees of the "Amore Monday" event at the Newport News Carrabba's. The manager recently left foe a new position in a Florida Carrabba's. Scott made sure each plate was as ordered and the food was always perfect. Since his leaving two months ago, the quality of the food has taken a nosedive. The salad portions are skimpy. My Caesar salad was so so dry (hardly any dressing) last night, I barely touched it. It honestly looked like some lettuce, croutons, and a few shreds of cheese were tossed on a plate and sent out of the kitchen. My friend ordered the Tuscan steak with Gorganzola sauce and garlic potatoes. Her medium steak was over cooked at one end and raw at the other. The potatoes were cold. The server and manager did bring a cooked-to-order steak and potatoes to her and remove the cost from the bill. However, this was the culmination of weekly issues since Scott left. It's as if we are expected to just eat what is put in front of us and like it. Our weekly experiences at Carrabba's once enjoyed may be over with this last incident. We are seriously looking for another venue after giving this restaurant several weeks of chances to "get it right."

Yuk

This is literally the worst Italian food ever. They should be ashamed of calling it the Italian grill. Horrible, horrible. Taste's like Chef Boyardee but at 10 times tbe price. Carrabba is actually the surname of the person who started the chain... this use to be a good place to eat but as with Red Lobster, Outback and Olive Garden, this chain has declined in quality and value..

We went to the Tallahassee location. We had to wait to even be seen by wait staff, who was very sweet and apologetic. She brought the drinks and bread, took our order and left. Asked hostess for butter, she said she would get it, then cleaned a table, went back to the hostess station. Came back when I waved my napkin in surrender. The waitress then came back with my salad and the butter. The food arrived. The lasagna was divine as was the bread and salad. The wait staff was fine, after she was told we were here. Hostess needs better training.

On 01-01-2015 I dinner here, the waitress was very nice; my positive experience ends there. They say when you have a good experience you tell several people, when you have a bad experience you tell many, so I wanted to start here. When we sat down to order we ordered a glass of house Malbec, we were then told they do not have Malbec, so we settled for a house red. We were then brought a glass of wine and was told it was Malbec, however it did not taste at all like Malbec. After drinking the first glass we ordered another glass of the same "Malbec”, possibly. The second glass of house wine was a different color and taste, we questioned this and was told it was Malbec. Fast forward, I called the same restaurant today to ask about Malbec and the price and I was told "we do not sell Malbec" however it is listed online. I then ordered the Chianti Chicken and later informed they were out of ingredients such as Arugula so I settled for the Prosciutto Pork Tenderloin. My better half ordered the Chicken Bryan. When my Pork "tenderloin" arrived I was informed they were out of the tenderloin so it was a cut up "pork chop" which is not the same. After my inquiring and statements of disappointment no action was taken. My other half's Chicken had a black trail in the oil/sauce and tasted like burnt griddle from the grill and was unacceptable and pure incompetence of cooking/preparation. She took three bites and did not eat anymore. After we complained about this we were offered a box and we declined we were then offered a "soup on the house" which we declined. Then the bill comes, by the way the salads were also incorrect. When the bill arrived it was $71 + which is crazy for the service and quality, I pride myself in good food and service and I have no issue paying $200+ for quality of both. When I looked at the price of the 3 different glasses of wine they were almost $12 for unknown house wine! Horrible experience

I went last year January 28 to carrabas in winter sping Florida, I order pasta for my four yeal old daughter she said dada I want pasta, anyway I order pasta the waitress said to me is going to be about half hour wait I said no problem.Can I wait at the bar and have a drink she said sure. Next thing you know the manager kicked me out as soon I finished paying the tab and called the cops on me because I bought a round of wine to the 4 ladies sitting next to me. I got so angry at this *** that embarrassed me in fron of everyone that I ended up in jail for her racist ***. In this restaurant if you go as a group of color people is ok, if you go as an individual they look at you as a criminal. The funniest thing is that I work in that same plaza fixing their car and they treat me as a criminal. I filed a complaint to corporate demanding the videos of the event that had happened, the district manager call me and said that that there is no video. Later on my attorneys found out that there is video even at the kitchen.

This evening I ordered 3 orders of wings &2 ceaser side salads the wings were over cooked and kinda crunchy as if they were fried I was highly upset because I've ordered the wings before and they were great.. I called and talked to David the manager and told him that my boyfriend would be bringing the wings back in which he did...David wasn't available to apologize for our inconvience or even offer anything so much as a salad or free meal nothing and as a Manager that didn't make me happy.. Racist encounter.

I went to carrabbas winter sping last Janauary, order food for my four year old daughter, they told me is going to be half hour I asked the waitress if I can sit at the bar and wait she said ok no problem. I went to the bar and order a drink for myself, after the second drink a notice a couple ladies sitting at the very left of me, I told the bartender to give them a drink on me and give me the tab, while she was getting my tab ready I left to use the restroom, I came back pay the tab next thing you know the manager came out screaming Me to leave the building I ask her what I did all she said that she was going to call the cops, i said ok call the cops, next thing you know in about less than a minute officer mc Daniel show up and arrested me for three different charges. I took several attorneys to bail me out since I never been arrested before I was freaking out plus I had my pregnant wife at home stress in out. I came out the next day from jail for no reason then call carrabbas to inform them about the incident, I had the district manager call me between a minute to apologize, next thing you know corporate call me back after two days with a fabricates storie. All I know is that according to my attorneys carrabbas do have videos of the event that accursed that day and I will like them to bring the video foward. That manager should get fired for her racist behavior. I even have the police report that she state that I was middle Easter looking.

Carrabba's has been a favorite of ours for many years (in several states!), however, last night's experience at the Daytona Beach, International Blvd, location confirmed what we have noticed over the last few years at what was formerly our favorite restaurant franchise: a consistent downgrade in quality of meats, salads, sauces, portion sizes ~ and a huge increase in prices!! What a trade-off to meet corporate Carrabba's newest standards > a loss of long-time, faithful, appreciative customers!! We understand that wholesale food costs, especially beef products, have called for some restructuring of prices, however, the result of these trends has obviously affected quality in a way that hits us where we notice it the most, our palates!! My husband and I have noticed this 'expensive' lack of QUALITY in other chains as well, so we will now be vigilantly on the lookout for some great Mom & Pop establishments to support.

First of all I have been a great fan for several years. Tonight however not so much. Your St Petersburg location near central was quite a disappointment. Horrible service. A bunch of young servers more interested in talking about their social lives than their customers needs. For the first time in my adult life I did not leave a tip.
